Being offered for your consideration is this unusual Hand Carved vintage or antique African Stool. This attractive stool is carved from a single piece of wood and adorned with carved geometric designs. The seat is spoon shaped with a carved design around the perimeter. The piece was brought back from Africa by some missionaries who are now getting on in years. It is in wonderful antique condition with some roughness and light chipping on the top edge with no breaks, repairs or areas of concern (see images). The wood shows no signs of a finish and shows areas of patina as it was kept on display for many years. It measures 12 1/8" tall, 10 1/8" deep and 9 1/2" wide. A very attractive piece!
