    Vintage calf drum head press / clamp …sized for 14” heads. Used to store calf drum heads and keep them flat . ( flesh hoops tend to warp when not under tension. Rare accessory. Two one ply maple rims . No makers mark . Nickel plated hardware … some light rust / corrosion. Heads NOT included… shown only for purpose of illustrating intended use.
    I saw this in an old Leedy or Ludwig catalog . Probably made by Walburg & Auge and sold to all drum companies. Historians chime in if you so desire .
