This is thick card board or thinner wood There is wear from age look at picture I think it is antique based on estate I got it from and might be tribute to William McKinley
This is a Great Vintage Advertising sign for Fort Wayne OOil and Supply Company.  In very small print it says cannot read first part but says printed and trade mark Saint Louis
The color is the darker black not brown that was a camera defect
