Up for auction Super Rare Vintage WWII 48 Star " US Ensign No 7 " and "MARE ISLAND .....,” US Navy American Nation Flag. Size 88” x 54” inches. Original 48 Star American Flag with Sticthced Stars and Stripes.The original rope and brass clasp are still intact and the ring is also intact! It has a stencil "US Ensign No 7 " MARE ISLAND ......,” on the seam area but it’s hard to read because it is very faint faint from it’s age. / it has stencil “ USS SULTAN “ That may have been flown on the USS. SULTAN. And then it has some staining/ old repair at corner and tear on one Corner from being blown in the wind for a long time and a few small moth holes/ it has some dirty and a little bit of smell of machines in ship. Overall the flag it’s good condition for it age. And “OLD GLORY “ See picture be carefully for refer condition and serious bidding please.
