Remo's Diplomat Fiberskyn Classic Fit drumheads offer something unusual: a vintage fit made possible by modern technology. Made with a single ply of 7.5-mil film laminated to a 3-mil polyspun fibrous layer, the Fiberskyn Classic Fit drumheads are exceptionally sensitive, with a warm, open midrange. The Diplomat Fiberskyn Classic Fit drumheads also feature a slightly narrowed flesh hoop to accommodate out-of-round vintage oversize drums made prior to the 1960s. Sweetwater's drum collectors and classic drum players were quick to appreciate the enhanced articulation of these drumheads, as well as Remo's innovative approach to the maintenance challenge presented by vintage shells.
