    Old African Wooden Baga Ritual Shrine Figure/Head Dress  - GUINEA
    Old wooden ritual figure from the Baga people of Guinea.  Carved in two pieces of a dense, heavy wood. Head fits tightly onto base. Head piece decorated with grid-like carvings. Very abstract. Minor age cracks throughout and wear to finish
    (please examine photographs carefully for condition).
    Purchased at auction years ago, this is part of my personal collection I am selling to downsize.  An uncommon African artifact.
