LITTLE BLACK BOOK Purchased more than twenty-five years ago at a flea market in Florida,
a very small six-ring binder with a black cover containing scores
of
typewritten drink recipes. It was, according to the man who sold it me, a notebook created during Prohibition. This turned out to be on further investigation a typescript (or made to look like one)
of
the original early 1940s Angostura Bitters PROFESSIONAL MIXING GUIDE and not from prohibition. It has a typewritten second title page which reads HOW TO GET DRUNK FAST by Chuck & Jo Huber. A true oddity for the mixologist and quite possibly one
of
a kind.
