Description
Honda V4 & V Twin Water Pump Overhaul Parts Kit, All new parts, complete, OEM style bearing, seal set and O-rings. This is a kit of all the necessary parts required to overhaul the V65 VF1100C Magna 83 to 86, the VF1100S Sabre 84 to 85, the 85-87 VF700C Magna and the 88 VF750C Magna VF750S water pump assembly, p/n19200-MB4-010. Also fits the 84-85 VF500C Magna water pump assy p/n 19200-KE7-010, the 84- 86 VF1000 Interceptor p/n 19200-MB6-020 and the 87-88 CBR1000F Hurricane and other models listed. Please use the compatible list to verify this will fit your model, which is in addition to what I have listed in my text above. I am adding new models when I can confirm the fit and function. If you don't see your model, please contact me and I may have your model in work. This task WILL require a hydraulic press, it cannot be done any other way. Please make sure you, and/or your mechanic, understand the requirements to overhaul your pump. One photo shows the interface with the oil pump, which is critical.
I will include a machined aluminum tool with each kit sold that will make this possible, because I designed this tool and manufacture it, I have not included a photo. They are made on my CNC lathe and CNC mill to insure accuracy and repeatability. Also included is a "How To" document that will prevent you from making some of the mistakes I have, this will be e-mailed to you after purchase.
I have spent well over a year working on this and have been able to find a company to manufacture the correct bearing, including the U slot cut precisely with a laser. It is not machined or ground out with unknown dimensions, it is very accurately centered and fits with the same tolerances as Honda has used. Also, the main seal is like the one you remove in that the strip of sealant is applied, blue or green band, so no sealer will be needed there.
I have included one of my test pumps in the photos. Like my test pump, all overhauled pumps will be cleaned and micro bead blasted (NO change in dimensions), assembled with care and then tested for leaks, like the photo. I run them for 20 to 30 minutes and verify there are NO leaks.
The kits I sell do not have a warranty unless you find a defective part before assembly. The advantage of having me rebuild your pump, or purchasing an exchange pump is that I will give you a lifetime warranty. If the pump ever leaks at the weep hole, I will repair and ship back to you at no charge. This does NOT cover the cost of removing the pump, shipping back to me or ANY misc. damage. Do remember it is up to you to maintain the cooling system in very good working order and always use distilled water when mixing with antifreeze.
