    Description

    Antique Handwritten 1920’s Family Recipe Book. Has different handwritings and appears to have been passed down through generations and/or shared among family members. Over 45 recipes including many desserts such as Marshmallow Cake, Boiled Orange Frosting, Apple Sauce Cake, New York Ice Cream, Fig Candy, Maple Mousse, Lemon Meringue Pie, Prune Pie, Raisin Pie, and more. Also includes recipes for salads, meats, breads, and jelly. The recipe book itself was made in Canada by Luckett's Sterling Line and patented in 1916. One of the recipes is dated "Dec 8th 1925" which also indicates the approximate age of this family's keepsake.
    The book does show signs of wear due to age and use over many decades. Please see photos for close-up views of the book's overall condition.
