This wonderful  with elegant  and unique  style  and  intricately horned appearance with high
carving decorated with elegant etched  and old black painted over an stand. Bambara  folks art is
High quality carving wood  in the shape of the male  Chiwarra  mask crest which is legendary  ritual
object representing an abstract horned antelope , used by the Bambara ethnic group in Mali. The Chiwarra
initiation  society used chiwarra mask crest,  as well as dances and ritual associated  primarily  with
agriculture to teach young Bamana men society values as well as agriculture  ancestor of the
Bambara  and  it is  symbol of Protection.  .....
The Bambara or Bamana are very  powerful ethnic group  and very proud of their warlike past
living in West Africa  Primary In Mali also In Guinea ,Burkina Faso and Senegal .
It's a beautiful Piece of art,  is very rich and brilliant details,  excellent for hanging

This beautiful piece of art seem to be very old  with nice age patina but not sure about age,  it looks in in
very good  conditions but
has  small  dents on wood , small scratches and old repaired cracks on one horn,
otherwise
it look fantastic...
