Young boy,
presenting shallow golden platter,
serves at your side -
catching ashes, gathering baubles,
or burning incense.
Adorned in
tailored trousers and turbin;
cold painted by hand in
muted tan with green sash.
Style and craftsmanship
is representative of the Aesthetic
Art Movements across Europe
during late 19th / early 20th
century.
Substantially crafted,
tipping the scales just
over
2¼ pounds.
This is a pre-owned piece, of antique age, and
will show signs of regular wear normal to its careful and respected use.
However, overall condition is good with some surface
marking and areas of paint loss.
Green paint transfer appears on left trouser leg at mid thigh.
Handsome features with
intricate details that display strong.
Patina appropriate to age is present.
Brown felted base.
No cracks or repairs.
Soft cloth buffed in order to preserve any existing patina.
Deeper polishing may be warranted and is left
to the buyer’s discretion and aesthetic.
