This set is as far as I can tell the full set (200-300 cards) of the Vintage Betty Crocker Recipe Card collection so popular in the 70’s. This even includes cards for the kids. (See photo) The recipes are timeless, but certain technology like microwave didn’t exist then, couple that with the photographs from the 70’s and this becomes both a useful collection AND a conversation piece because of it’s appearance.. The style of clothing worn and the design of the kitchens and appliances. It contains every category from thanksgiving turkey to baking a cake from scratch.
The case is NOT the original card case but it works. Has closing lid that latches to keep the cards safe. The market shows average ten cards for .50, (see photo) so I am pricing the whole set with case. If there are 300 cards broken down into sets of 10, that would be 30 ten card blocks. 3.50 x 30 would come out to be 105.00 value, if sold separately. I am listing the entire set with the case for obo. A real steal for anyone who loves Vintage 70’s items, or likes to cook, or who is just looking to recapture an item they remember from Moms kitchen in the days of their youth. I am a sucker for nostalgia and this set triggered memories and emotions I had forgotten from my early childhood and time spent with my grandma.
