    Description

    Offered is are 2 Vintage Black Americana Post Cards.  They feature African American Boys and one is sitting on a fence and the other on a pumpkin.  The first post card reads "I'se Waitin' Fo' Yo- Down In Sunny Dixie- 23."  It's marked "Copr. Detroit Pho Co."  The card is ring dated 1935 New Orleans LA.  It has a one cent stamp on it.  The card picture is very nice, but there is a light spot stain under "Sunny" and the lower right corner has a crease.  (See pics).  It's marked "Made In U.S.A.By E. C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee, WI."  on the back of the card.  The back of both cards has paper residue most likely from being removed from an album.  The second post card features a boy sititng on a pumpkin and the card reads "858 Yes Suh!  Some Punkins In Dixieland!"  It's number 4A-H1243 and marked "C.T. Art Colortone" on the back of the card.  This card has some staining near the top.  (See Pics).  Two nice vintage Black Americana Post Cards to add to your collection.
