    Description

    Up for sale is a pair of Antique Victorian Trade Card Advertisements for Ladies Fine shoes by W. H. Goodger & D. Armstrong in Rochester, New York. Circa 1880-1890s.
    The first card is of a young girl in a Russian flag dress and the card says "RUSSIA" in the bottom right corner. The second card has a graphic of a young girl in an England flag dress and the card says "ENGLAND" at the bottom right corner. Each card has a gold gilt background and says "W. H. GOODGER & D. ARMSTRONG" "LADIES FINE SHOES. / ROCHESTER, NY." at the top. The reverse side of each card is blank.
    There is wear and discoloration to each of the cards as shown in the photos. The reverse side of each card has  wear and discoloration. Both cards still display beautifully. Each card comes in a hard plastic protective sleeve.
